Default Leather seat saga...frustrating dealer service

I posted a few weeks ago about my Ebony leather seats discoloring after the second day. Well it's in the shop today and I got called to tell me my car will be ready later this afternoon. Well I got called again to tell me the upholstry shop installed the seat covers before they noticed that it was the wrong part. Mine are all leather and they installed leather with a cloth back. Didn't figure it out until the went to put on the passenger side after they'd already done the driver side. I told them I didn't want to take a rental and I'd just drive it til my seat covers came in. I haven't even owned the car long enough to make a payment. Frustrating...

I have no idea. I basically drove it home the first evening then the next morning drove to Pleasenton from Oakland and noticed where the vertical and horizontal seams meet, there was discoloration. Almost like you could see a different color under the Ebony. My son was in the passenger seat and it was more visible on his side but the splotches were bigger on the driver side.

Well then, the knuckleheads at the dealer ordered the wrong part.

It's amazing how we can make each other feel better by hearing someone else have it worse. It must be some human charactor flaw.
