You know how we keep saying our dealerships just don't get it? Well, Leith (Cary, NC) is finally getting in the groove.
They had a 2002 A4 showing where they invited the Carolina Quattro Club to the event. Of course we asked them to invite us, but that wasn't the point.
I mentioned to Sam (the guy who usually fixes my car) that the alarm falsed the other day. He volunteered to have a look for DTCs. Of course I was happy to let him! He found a DTC and changed the sensitivity. He also took the time to explain how the alarm works. Apparently there is a jarring sensor of some kind. We can't change its sensitivity. The grill in the info cluster IS the radar sensor for the roadster. That's the thing that can be adjusted from 40 to 100. He lowered mine to 50 to see if it worked.
The event, though I doubt the only one to happen in the country, was very welcoming and appreciated.
Leith is make a noticable effort to improve service. I was very impressed.
So, this is the second good report I have given about Leith in the past month or so.
I could praise them in other ways as well. They get it now. I don't expect them to be perfect, but I feel they really do care and are trying to side with the owner. I may even feel they would let me get a chip!

in prep for the move to the old Honda building. So, when the move occurs we should see an immediate improvement.
