yeah, you're really looking for HPA type numbers rather than just a bigger turbo.

Default Yeah... 3.2 VR6 HPA numbers.

And even then, it'd be very close.

Default No it's true, but that can only "hang" with the 2005 Z06. I think you're referring to the 2006 one

in which case, high 12 1/4 means maybe 10 or so car lenghts away by the Z06.

Many (APR) stage III A4's and more so on the GTI's run in high 12's

Default Enough my dreamers!>>

based on what the >>400hp Dahlback stuff costs...I'd say you'd need >$25,000 in power / durability stuff...and I'm not talking about the Z06.

I know what I payed....and, every extra hp costs more $ and more$$$ and...The latest TJM project was big$$.

By the way....if the Vette guy alters his mapping, timing, intake, exhaust (about the same ~$1-$2K that we pay)...ALL bets are off.

I love my little car.....but ...for serious poop...don't mess with the U.S....unless you have well into triple digit $$ to spend on some complicated Porsche or Prancing Horse or Charging Bull...even then a Viper may nail ya'

Default No replacement for displacement :) The C5's are the most nimble things on wheels on our local

AutoX grounds stockwise - ok go karts don't count A modded Vette or Viper go airborne on one of our local AutoX courses - crazy. Nothing like instant torque via big block. I haven't seen a C6 run yet.

BTW, just got my April EC issue yesterday. Great article and congrats! Somehow, the mailman must have kept my March one
