Default Damn, that's incredible. I feel very lucky to be friends with a retired master mechanic...

and former driver for Porsche & Ferrari, back in the 60's. He can fix anything

Default exactly...which is why they also want everyone to give them high marks when called upon

to rate the dealer's service. yeah, the real money machine is the service department, not sales.

Default lucky stiff. if only schwing lived closer to the NE...he would have too much business

and would have to turn some people away! just think about that!?

Not sure I want to go that route! I'm about as busy as I want to be. Poor but busy. Good thing shack overhead is low (and my wife works!)

Default all you have to do is pack a bag for 1 week...find someone with a lift and some air tools

and start taking appointments. i would set up some time just for a few of my slight issues. i would be there in a heartbeat!

and i bet there would be others just lining up!

Default Sadly, this does not shock me. Did you call the service mgr back and let him know they tried to rip

you off, and you will be reporting it to AoA?(and the BBB, I would.)

28,000 miles... Why not under warranty?
