Default Hopped Up Diesel Trucks/Frequently

There are a lot of hopped up diesel trucks around here, including my own. Most of them get excited when I pull up next to them. They don't realize I am a whole lot lighter and have better traction. Of course, I can't pull a tractor around. It is still pretty funny.

it would have been a closer race(or maybe not) if I wasn't driving this... I think he was trying to impress the girl he had in the car. I hope she is impressed with losers!!!

Default Ferrari 512BB all the way between Bologna and Florence

We were doing (up to) 286 kph (indicated) in traffic on the autostrada, 4 wheel drifting through corners. Our tires were actually liquifying (pulled long strings off of them when I got out and kissed the ground).

Oh, and you didn't say that we had to be driving a TT. This was in a specially prepped Countach with P7Rs. You so rarely see another exotic on the roads in Italy willing to stomp on it.

Another (little) disclaimer: I wasn't driving, just an adrenaline-flushed passenger with Jasjit Singh Rarewala (CEO of Lambo North America) who allegedly was taking me to lunch at Harry's Bar in Firenze. Thought we might have been going somewhere else if those Fiat Topolinos hadn't gotten out of the way.

Default P.S. His big mistake

was flashing his lights at cars (and turning them on in tunnels), which scrubbed at least 10 mph off his top speed. Since we didn't have any lights yet (the car wasn't quite finished when we stole it off the production line), we never made that mistake.

Default Chipless. Surprised the TL wasn't much of a contender but it was a very cool and

accomodating evening for the turbo.

Default Well...

.... your posts made the original post worthwhile. Remarkable stories. I love the A1 Autostrade in Firenze. Especially the south approach.
