transition from left to right then you dig hard and set yourself up for the next turn. The spots where you get light, which is where this guy F*'d up, is a very bad place to try to change your line. Lifting, or a change in steering angle while you are light can cause some real problems when you come back down and get traction again.
It's mostly a maintenance throttle area, until the last turn where you're pretty much back into full throttle. But you have to have the wheel straight when you "land" then make the turn.

I was a hot shot so I was in group 3 (advanced). My lesson learned was look further ahead, plan ahead and be humble. I love Sears though, probably my fav tracks over Laguna. I've been there about 8 times now. Although the only time I've driven the new configuration was on a parade lap with our TT. They since moved that mountain on 8 and 9 further out.

especially when this idiot in an S8 decided to slow down and give me a point by as I crested the hill out of the esses - I got black flagged for an illegal pass - but no way was I going to slow down and not go around. My instructor encouraged the pass and took all the heat - they should have also black flagged the idiot in the S8.........

was flipping him off as he wouldn't let me pass in the passing zones and then pulls that stunt. Needless to say - they should have booted the instructor and the student...
