Default LighTTnin... I tried the 49c setting on the on-board diagnostic system...

and it indeed changes in one degree increments when I would expect it to... seems like it must be actual coolant temp. On my 225, it shows 90* or 91* C most of the time... but after driving for a while, then parking at idle the temp went as high as 100*C then came back down. Cluster temp gauge didn't budge off of middle position-- which is consistant with the +- 10*C normal range of fluctuation (in other words, between 80*C and 100*C is "normal".) If 49c is coolant temp, I wonder what 51c "Engine Temp" is a measurement of, if not coolant?

This was just a short test... I'll try it some more under various conditions and let you know what I find out. Sounds to me like your 120*C reading is high... but maybe not.
