Little red oil splotches on the garage floor.....??????
Spotted these in a group near the left rear wheel. Figured it was a brake fluid leak.Some splotches were apparently older than others, all dry when I found them. Went to the nearest Audi dealer, was quickly put in the air and inspected. Found that brake fluid lines were tight but that a vent line from the rear of the Haldex unit which ends near the left rear wheel had apparently vented a drop or two of the Haldex fluid (also red) after a long drive when the fluid had expanded due to heat. The Haldex fluid level was at normal/full level. Good news! Hopefully, this will be of interest to those who may find similar spots- have it checked out!
