Default LLTEK exhaust - how tough to install is it??

Someone give us the heads up on this one - and if they think it's worth the $900
(and the blow-by-blow if they did the install...)

I took mine to a local speed shop. Glad I did. We could not get everything to fit without the pipes hitting somewhere. Ended up having to heat and bend the pipes especially in the mid-section where the factory system is also clamped to avoid the frame.

I had expected some problems having bought aftermarket quite often. All things considered it really wasn't that bad. I would not recommend doing yourself unless you can get the car in the air. The rear panel is not the quality in fit and in finish with the factory but still looks good. Not recommended for very particular people.

I do like working with the LLTEK folks. Very responsive and helpful.

The exhaust looks good but shrieks under acceleration and is annoying.

Default I dunno .... MichaelTT's pretty particular (to put it lightly). If there were the slightest problem

with the fit and finish of the rear panel he would have sent it back. (Perhaps he just made sure he made that clear to them upfront so there'd be no problems.)

my issue with was that the panel had gaps around the perimeter. The top does not stay locked in very well and requires periodic adjusting.

Still I'm happy with it.
