Default Long term APR chip users

My TT is about two and a half years old, and I'm considering getting it chipped. I like APR because they have an authorized installer about 30 minutes from where I live. I did a search on APR and I read all of the pros and cons, but what about long term usage. Have any of you guys who have had APR chips for over two years have any problems caused by the chip?

Default 35K and Many, Many Miles of Smiles

Get all the programs with your chip. The 100 octane is a riot, even for 1 tank full or two. The "hide" program is nice for when going to the dealer. Most dealers know to push the stalk button to see if you are chipped.

also, put the chip on stock mode and had my Audi tech check the car and his equipment didn't detect the chip.

Default Hey guys: Thanks for the reports.

The dealer I go to, Valley Motors in MD, seems to be chip tolerant. Apparently they must have had a rough time with some customer, because their policy now is that they will honor all warranty work on all chipped cars unless they are certain that the problem was caused by the chip.

Default Man, you guys are really tempting me

I haven't heard of one dissatisfied APR customer yet. 40 more HP for $500 is not a bad deal.
