Wonder what the battery being moved here would do for handling ;-) Yes, it would be a pain to get to, but really how often do you need to get to it? The mod could include remote location terminals, for jump starting the car, in the area near the spare tire. Hmmm? :-)

Default Heat issues? I guess you'd have to insulate it pretty heavily.

That would also give you a spot for a water tank for IC misters. ;^)

The engine bay is pretty hot too. I wonder what environmental conditions are best for the battery?

Default I saw one recently in almost the same spot accessed through the trunk...

it was a much older American car. Might have been a 49 Merc.

Default my guess - fiberglass steel reinforced box, hung off the frame and vented by the under-car airflow..

this may actually work ;-)

Default well thanks for your opinion. This exhaust is still un-polished and looks raw...

it is 3" stainless steel all the way to and out of the custom canister. BTW the Milltec system reduces to 2.5" at the canister, and as I'm sure you know..., you are limited in flow issues by the narrowest point in any system ;-) It will buff up to be as shiny as the tips are and never dull. Plus it weighs about 30 lbs less then the OEM system. So, in conclusion... form follows function.
