Default i don't know quite what I think about the ultra...

That billet piece doesn't seem like it would do much but make the mechanism have a little more weight behind it which would smooth out the shifting of the race shifter. supposedly it will take some of the slop out of the shifter, but from what I could tell when I installed mine, very little play comes from those ends. side to side play comes from the little plastic piece. now if they made it where you could adjust how close the cable ends were to the pivot point so you could get precisely the throw you wanted, that would be nice. don't get me wrong, I love my DG race, but the $90 ultra upgrade doesn't seem like its worth it to me.

I already have the DG Race SS, so we'll see what the "ultra" does!!
