WTH is a Heim joint? Or do I need an engineering degree to participate?

Does the billet piece not clamp onto the end of the cable housing too?

Default put in my 'upgrade kit' today. doesn't feel drastically different from before (race version)

....though some of the play seems to have diminished. will post a review after i drive it.

Couple of the install bits were fun (not) ...couple of tips:

if your rubber boot is stuck when you are trying to push it back to expose the cable end threads... use a cloth and a pair of pliers to hold the end... then another pair of hands with a long screw driver and a gentle tap will help. mine wouldnt budge otherwise.

removing the airbox should definitely assist when it comes to tightening the billet shifters nuts. otherwise will need to use an allen key and takes a while says my cut and bruised hands.
