...and does anyone have these wheels on a TT I can see?

You're really going to want/need spacers, something at least 10f/15r or they're going to be sitting inside wells too much anyway...even if they would work.
My wheels are ET22/8.5" width (no spacers) and still don't come even with fender lip.
A 10mm spacer will effectually make them ET28's. TT's can take low offsets.
