Default Looking for an MP3 player for working out at the gym...please give opinions

I love the Ipod but I can't imagine walking the gym with that and risking something happening to it.

I was considering something with a strap memory of 128MB - 256MB. Sound quality should be decent and volume loud enough to block background noises.

So far... I've been looking at the Nike PSA and Rio Cali Mp3 players. It's so hard to find information and decent reviews on these items so I thought I might get better ideas here. Please share. TIA!

TIA

Default I saw a cool one at a local computer store. It has a build in FM transmitter so you can listen to

it on any FM stereo. Just tune to the radio station that the divice transmits on and you're all set. It was about 200CAD (150USD)

Default just get an iPod...

...I wasted my money on 3 other mp3 players before getting an iPod. Rio in particular is junk....mine died after 3 months, it took another 6 months to get it replaced under warranty, and then the replacement died a month later.

To answer you question below, my iPod has NEVER skipped, and I jog with it on a treadmill almost every day. Check out the new miniPod if you want something a little smaller.

Default I'm waiting for the Samsung yepp YH800 or 860...

...1.5 gB flash, USB 2.0. I think the 860 adds a heartrate monitor and stopwatch, should be out in June. For now I like the iRiver iFP 599T, also 1.5 gB flash, 12 mW power per channel to drive my Shure EC5 earphones. Here's a link for others. Try ZDnet for another few dozen models.

http://www.coolmp3store.com/</a

Default As far as I know, but every time I blink there's a new player on the market...

...I spent 3 weeks on a spreadsheet narrowing down to a WeWa, then the iRiver 1.5 comes out. 2 days later, I read a UK review on the new Samsungs. I figure if I wait another month, they'll have one that'll dispense water.

Blink. Fuji makes a 250 mB flash player with the monitor.
