Default Loud rattle from air conditioner...

While standing alongside my TT with the engine running, I heard a fairly loud rattle which appeared to be coming from the right side of the engine compartment.

Yesterday, I shut off the air conditioner, and noticed that the rattle immediately went away. So the rattle is definitely related to the aircon. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Default Yeah, it is a Bose problem...

Putting a speaker in the air conditioner vent is very dangerous. If the volume isn't high enough, then some rock 'n' roll can fall out of the speaker the wrong way and get stuck in the air conditioner. ;-)

Default noticed this too

This happened shortly after my repairs so I assumed it was because of the damages. Taking my car in on Wedsday to check, will let you know<p>JasonC

Default My 180 does this, always has. I would not characterize mine as loud, though.

All engines are noisier with the A/C on. (Not trying to be patronizing here) I intend to have it looked into at my next scheduled service, but I expect nothing will be found wrong.

Default Happened to me as well...

It took it in to the dealer and it was diagnosed as a loose cover for engine crank pulley... If you ask me it sounds a little scary. Anyways it was gone when I got the car back, however 2 days later it was back. I currently have my appointment to get the TT back into the dealer.
