Default Re: your apr chip

that is tight, how much hp did your apr chip add? Did it mess with your warranty? Would you reccomend it?

Default well... according to the apr website...

it brings power levels on an otherwise unmodified 225hp TT to 263hp/267tq (on the 93 octane map).

i'm not sure if i would recommend it. yes, it adds a lot of oomph, but is harder to drive smoothly than the stock program. i would have to experience other chip tuner's efforts before coming to a conclusion on which one is best.

the power is definitely there.

Default thanks!

actually they're the bimoto replicas from frh/hartmann wheels (called 'RS4-DTMs'). nice wheels for the price. not super light (25lbs), but with the light kumho ecsta mx's (22lbs) i still ended up 5lbs lighter per corner than my winter setup. it definitely reacts faster.

Default yeah. :) i wish i could capture the real uniqueness of these wheels on camera, but i just can't...

'tis a real shame, as they look absolutely stunning in person.

thanks for the compliment.
