not the hood, not the seat, not the engine bay, etc. Did you not test drive it wrt the rear shocks? And I wouldn't expect the casual owner - which he obviously was - to be aware of bushes, dogbone or anything of the like; same with the fuel filter and the brake fluid, and certianly not the inside of the engine. Your deal, your responsibility - you could have taken it to a mechanic - send the letter if you want, but I'd be careful of saying it was mis-represented.

Rather than post something of a more personal nature (or inflammatory) here, I'd prefer to send it via e-mail. Less clutter on the board (as evidenced by this post).
Sorry it is growing!

I test drove it on the way home (LOL, I know, I know) and all I could think of was how frigging rough the ride was. In truth, I was completely ignorant of how the car should feel. Now I KNOW my initial irritation WAS misguided (must go apologize to the TT tomorrow).
Engine bay looked fine with the covers on, but once off, whoa Nelly!
Bottom line is this: $8600 for the car, about $2500 in parts (total) and for ~$11k, I should have a really nice car for momma.
Thanks for the insight...it was very helpful.
