Default Re: Stock is good and cheap and still under warranty too.

Very good point. To me the interesting result would be quarter mile differential between chipped and non chipped. Who the hell are going to beat chipped, some rice piece of $hit? I have always maintained that if one is seeking off the line performance, than start with a performance car - not something sweet to drive like a TT. My previous car (SVT Lightning) was purchased to enjoy beating Z28's, Mustangs, surprisingly C5 Vettes and the like. This car brings me back to the joy of driving that I have missed with my last few muscle cars.

Default larry -- all the cars were run in 3rd gear from 1500 rpm to redline...

the peak figures were reported by dan. i think michael is trying to scan the entire printout from each car so that you (and everyone else) can see the differences over the entire range. that should give us a lot more information.

Default Larry, Regarding the MTM/Milltek setups, there was one notable difference between us and that's ESP

I don't think Michael has it. Anyway, it may be trivial, but there are some other resulting differences between Michael's car and mine as a result.

Another thing is I'm wondering if MTM has changed their program between Michael's install and mine. My car was running very lean through most of the rev range and turned rich at the top. Meanwhile, Michael's was running pretty much optimal until the top where it ran rich. I don't think that any of us are very happy with the A/F profiles and I'm personally planning on pursuing it with MTM to at least get an explaination.

Default good morning, dave! sorry we were at opposite ends of the dyno day...

it would have been fun to drive over and back together (that is, if my little 180 could have kept up with your 225!). i have some concerns about my air/fuel mixture, as well.

Huh? No offense Larry, but since you weren't there how can you presume that?
