Default Apparently mine did.

After chipped it would lose boost intermittantly.
APR found lean condition code. I bought a Rebuilt MAF an all has been well for months.
Remember that you can get the AUDI rebuilt maf for about $80.00.

Default Re Rebuilt ... Yeah ... I just saw that at the Impex site

If the VW unit -- that Ingolstadt is going to try -- doesn't work, then I'll probably get the rebuilt one.

I don't know if it's worth my time to try and convince my local dealer that the MAF is bad when everything seems to be running OK now.

As of now, I'm waiting for them to call me about the status of my car. They're installing the DieselGeek short shift kit and having my alignment done (at a dedicated shop, of course) after I hit that pothell from hell last week.

Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.

Thanks for the info, nonetheless.

Default Go to a VW dealer and get their MAF w/ body. It's about $35 cheaper. Also, the warranty is extended

to 7/70 on the MAFs. Save the receipt and call AoA 800-822-2834 and get reimbursed.
