MAF vanes and screen moderately dirty/sooty on the hot side. Normal? If not, what could cause this?

I would say that it's not overly sooty, but there's a thin film of black soot on both the vanes and the screen. Could it be fuel blowback (and is this even possible)? Is this a problem? I doubt it is, but just checking.

FYI, I have a Hyperboost adjustable DV.

A bit of oil blow-back through the PCV system.....One of the reasons MAF's get Oily.

All the more reason to get a TTDA/VTDA + **** and descreen that MAF.

Default I figured it could be a lazy PCV valve too. BTW: Expect a Modshack order from me in the next week...
... my warranty expires tomorrow!
