Default Sounds like a possible cluster problem.

See a thread below about having reset the cluster; there also may be a way to do this with VAG-COM.

Otherwise, it's new cluster time for you!

Pull fuse #11 and #15. Reseat. You will need to re-set your clock display

Default My temp gauge has been creeping ever higher over the past two weeks

Just hooked the car up to VAG-COM tho and everything looks ok engine wise... time for a new cluster for both of us I think

Default Hmmm. Are there any sensors the VAG doesn't read? I'd expect>>

more erratic behavior from the gauge if the cluster's going south...

Default I had a # of erratic dash display issues, solved by new >>

instrument cluster, but the fuel gauge was fixed by replacing a sensor-- all these covered under warranty.

Default hehe Not sure, haven't exactly figured out what all it can do yet :)

I'm kind of surprised that this is the only thing going nuts on me, I figure its only a matter of time before the fuel sending units go as well.
Hey, is that car clean yet?
