Default Man, today must be "dumbass day." My dumbass stunt of the day:

I accidentally knocked over my wife's bicycle into my TT and busted the side marker lens. (Fortunately, and amazingly, it only hit the lens and not the fender.)

Anyone have a spare one of these laying around (e.g. that you replaced with a smoked lens) that you wouldn't mind giving away? World Impex has them for $13 + 10 bucks to ship. Figured I'd try here first. (Will offer to paypal five bucks or so for shipping.)

Default it's given by>>

probability=area of the side marker/total surface area of the body
or
probability=area of the side marker/total surface area of the car's body exposed to the bike's angle

Default so something like a 1 in 1,373,092 shot

but more likely what are the chances the paint was actually scratched and Rich either just didn't see it or didn't report it because it was nominal damage...

Default Nope, I looked. Paint appears to be unscathed.

It may indeed have hit the paint and done no damage, but I saw no evidence that it hit the fender at all. It was the end of the handle bar that struck the lens in a downward angled motion (imagine a bike tipping over) and actual broke the inside tabs that hold the lens in place.

Maybe... But I didn't even take it out of the garage this weekend and it still manages to break!
