Manual vs DSG

I have <2 yrs driving experience and very little manual experience. I've been driving my 3.2 since Dec. '03 and love it. I'm curious as to what advantage, if any, does a manual have over the DSG?
I know some people just like the feel/involvemnet of the manual. I'm also aware of the issue with the US DSG not holding redline long enough/upshifting too early (mostly on the track). Are there other difference? Things you can do with a manual you can't do with the DSG?

but that short time in the car made me realize that there is no way any manual transmission could hope to match its shifting speed. I still like rowing my own out of habit, but I was very impressed.

I would get it if preented the option
Pros for DSG:
1 great in trafic
2 faster shift times
3 very close to manual when required
Cons:
1 you don't feel 'one' with the car
2 shifting 5th to 1st on a turn feels more natural with a manual

had a long time getting used to not shifting, but now that I am I don't know I want to go back, but would if DSG was not available.
On the track the DGG goes all the way to redline in S mode, but for regular driving it doesn't, nor with autox, it's not pushed to the limit.
Besides who can bet 30+ MPG in the city?
