Does anyone know how to determine which number in the series a particular TT is ? ie. #527 of 4000 etc. This info seems prevelant in regards to the Neiman Marcus model. I assume that if one is equipped with the VIN, you can find this out, but who do you go to for it ? Thanks ...

The car # is the last 6 digits of the VIN for each model year.
The whole vin is decoded in the TT FAQ. Follow the link below!
Ed

Club TT

The number sequence is based on the model year (2000 = Y). I believe that the number is the total produced by the factory, not the number for US production. Factory production of 1999 model year (1999 = X) were not shipped to US. Lowest US cars I've seen have seqences number in the 700 to 800 range. I don't know if there are separate sequences for Quatros and 225's. The NM's have a "1" in the first digit of the 6 sequence digits and then 1 to 100 in the last three digits.
