May get an M3 instead...

My TT roadster is going into production this month, but I am having second thoughts. I am thinking about getting an estoril blue (great color!) M3. Anyone else agonizing, or is the choice that easy?
I love the way the TT looks, but as far as price (10K cheaper since it is used), handling, performance and usability the M3 is better than the TT. I guess I am too practical. Any comments?

Otherwise, you could make good arguments for both cars.
Of course, there's the styling of the TT. But if it doesn't speak to you, then it may not be for you.

I test drove the M3 and the S2000 after I put a deposit on the TT just to make sure and at this point I am sure about the TT. The M3 styling is really not for me. The performance was nice but everything about it seemed a little cheap inside and no grin factor. The S2000 had a nice gear box and thats about all that was nice about it.

one of my co-workers has one. as chipped 225 TT will be faster, and can be made to handle better, especially where 4wd is needed...
plus, watch the resell value of the M3s plummet when the 2001s finally come out!

...but that is another arguement all together (the E46 M3 is all new for 2001). If you are deciding between the TT and the E36 M3, why not consider the TT coupe (225hp)? I'd either get the TT or look at the upcoming BMW 330Ci(about 225 hp). There really isn't an answer as I constantly rediscover, you just have to drive the cars.
Justin Singh

I had second thoughts Monday about the wait, but come to find out the car might be on a boat making its way here. Don't make a decision based on the wait. I'm not thrilled to get rid of my BMW, but I welcome the change.
TTKEN ;{

wifes Mazda 929 and my Ford Ranger pick up. Neither of which do anything for me, except haul more people or stuff down the road.
