Default Nice. They claim "it's not a metal-working machine"...

But couldn't it cut some metals with a more powerful motor and maybe slower cut times?

Ultimately I'd like to get a desktop CNC capable of cutting aluminum as well as softer materials...

Default I think it will too. I'll start slow. Main reason I got it was to learn CAMWorks "on the cheap".

I will get a "real" CNC mill in the future, after I master the CAD to CAM to gCode path...
