Since the Carmel meet is delayed due to CA Hwy 1 being out of commission, I thought we might do either a drive or a happy hour within the next week or two. I'm open to suggestions, but my initial thoughts are to either:
1. Do a Sunday Brunch at the same place we did last time (Karl Strauss Beer Gardens in Sorrento Mesa). It is a bit inconvenient for you folks in L.A., but it's pretty, the food is good, the prices cheap, and there is a huge almost enrirely unused parking lot, so our "babies" won't get scratched.
2. We could do a drive through Julian and the Laguna and Cuyamaca mountains. I know a very nice, winding route that is pretty and is a lot of fun to drive in the TT. Any thoughts?
