I stopped by Griffin Motorwerke this morning after reading your answers. The H&Rs are coming off for now (until I start doing track days again). I'm replacing them with my stock springs and Bilstein HD dampers.
After discussions of ride height with Terry I decided on the HDs over the Sport.
So, some time next week I'll revert to a more resilient ride, at least my TT will!

I'm used to "firm" suspension setups. I've driven in a few S4s recently (Corey Smith's for example) and some SCCA spec. track cars that have, to me, a very hard ride.
Compared to them the H&Rs rate an 8. However, I suspect that most TT users would find the ride on broken city streets (like Berkeley!) or on concrete strip freeways (like the Bay Area or the Richmond/San Rafael bridge) to be unacceptably harsh. They might rate them a 10 even.
I'm OK with that because I wanted the quick turn in and increased feel for the track. The trade off was putting up with a harsh ride; now, however, I'm going to choose a more resilient ride.

they replace the useless Monroes (on the rear) and give a firmer ride w/o shaking my old spinal disks to pieces! (We grow old!)
