Default Milltek Installed - first impressions. . .

Install was pretty straight-forward and went smoothly. Had some minor tip alignment issues - and the pipes didn't give much clearance at the bend before the resonator... gunna have to watch it for awhile.

After install, the sound is PERFECT! Very nice and mellow - idle sounded great! Acceleration was MUCH smoother and linear... no neck-snapping at 3500 rpm...

Only current concern is a strange noise at roughly 5000rpm... kinda a "ricey" buzzing - hoping this is a fitment problem... or that it goes away with some time. Anyone else had this?

Overall - this is fantastic... only very slightly louder than stock... a great upgrade.

Thanks to Bob @ Stratmosphere for this great setup!

I get a buzzing affect as well, though I don't have the resonator option. I wondered if it qualified as "cabin drone", not knowing what it really is.

I also noticed that the center pipe isn't perfectly center-aligned in the recession that runs front to back underneath the car, so the pipe is almost hitting the side of the well. If I opt to use the center hangar, the pipe will be jammed up against the side of the recession as it is lifted by the hangar.

Default Take a look at the heat shield, mine was a little lose when I installed my Forge, and had a similar

vibration except my was at idle. Tightened it up and through a little shim of sheet metal under it and it all went away.
