I live in Dallas, so if you are ever in town and have time, I will play golf with you. I am not very good( a good day is a score under 95).
I think you have to play many many times before you begin to enjoy it. Up to that point, most people despise it. I know I did. It can be so difficult!
In my last post I certainly did not mean to imply that you personally "sit on the sofa" and do not get outdoors. I just meant "in general" being outdoors can be great, no matter what you(the collective "you") are doing.
Get out there and play! It really can be fun! :-D

My mother, the seventysomething, was ranting about how her friends discuss what their children are up to and all she get to tell them are my fastest lap times and the latest mods to the VW. Gees- at least I'm not the boring dweeb with the lawn fungus problem. Golf, she understands. Cars are for just getting to golfcourse and to the senior quilting bee.
