Default Mistaken manual tops on 225 TTR's? (re-asking question from below)

Has anyone posting or lurking on this forum had any direct experience with this situation reported below where a bunch of the 225 TTR's built over the last month or so were made without the standard power top? Anyone had one delivered?

I sent an e-mail to my salesman asking about it, but I'm wondering if it's just a rumor or if there is more solid evidence of it.

Default My sales manager said one 225TTR was delivered to him with manual top

this or last week. They did not discover until delivery. Other dealers in FL were calling him to with the same story and concertedly they called AoA to get to the bottom of it.

Did I see it with my own two eyes? Nope.

But that's a lot more conclusive that just a rumor given that your sales manager told you about it

Default dave -- i've seen both and the manual roof is just fine...

i wouldn't spend the money to get the auto roof. get audi to give you some cash (for both the cost differential and extra as "pain and suffering" compensation and have fun with the manual roof!

Maybe it'd be like getting a misprinted coin and make it a real classic....only 1400 ever made

Default Trust me, I rather have the manual top.

less weight, save money, won't break, great exercise and more storage somewhere to be tapped.

Default Power tops are part of Premium Package. Not standard on Stripped down TTRs

Not that Audi didn't make a mistake but just wanted to clarify that they are not factory standard option.
