Default mk1 tt suspension restorable?

Hello, not sure what more to do for my 2004 TT Quattro. It seems to resist all improvements made to the suspension. Since last year, it has received the following: new lower ball joints, front stabilizer bushings and link assemblies, front lower control arm assemblies, new Bilstein Plus shocks and struts, new front strut mounting kit. Despite all these replacements, the suspension over a bumpy road still has a loose, crashy, truck-like feel to it. Not sure what else can be added. Is it possible to get this 20-yr old car back to an almost-new type of ride, or is that kind of thinking just a pipe dream? Welcoming all suggestions.
