Default Mod peeps!! - Introducing the turbo of our dreams!! >>>

check this out. I found this information in an article of on a group that turbocharged a standard boxster. Result = DAMN fast!!

The groups is called Aerocorp in Batavia, NY. They offer a turbo charger called the Aerocharger. A complete turbo with "variable vane" technology. Very, VERY cool. Check out the tinks. The one below is technical info:

Default Interesting>>>>>

They just did an article on Aero in this months EXCELLENCE magazine on this setup. Turns out it was the twin turbo version in a Boxster. The write up was ok....which explains them being out of business....based on the article, it just was not the 400hp they claimed.

Default I used their HD system for over 5 years

I personally met the owners, nice people! I used their system on my custom HD and made lost of power the variable vane system works great and I think they had a patent. I still have an extra turbo in my garage floor. it had an outboard bearing for the propeler so that oil would not be cooked on shut down self lubricating bearing, great system just never cought on.

Default hmm... yeah, i can see how it would either work really well...

or really poorly.

but even with a cool design, you never know how it'll work in the real world.

too bad they went belly-up, though.
