Default nicely done

did this to my old 93 VW Cabrio - the oil cooler that would fit in that car was tiny so I only got a 10C temp diff but in that car it was the diff between the oil pressure warning light coming on and staying off ie it made that much difference in the oil temps/pressures. And it was mobil 1 oil too...

Default I updated the parts list....>

You can get the fans from Racerpartswholesale, the "T" fitting off the sandwich plate is set up for future sensor mounts (either temp or pressure).
Just drill and tap the plug, or adapt senders to 3/8 pipe thread fitting...

Default awesome, as always Steve...questions>>>

where did you locate the sender for your oil temp gauge? or are you accessing that info through the VAG???

i've been wanting to add an oil temp gauge for a while, but haven't seen anything definitive for the sender location. i think there was a discussion on this topic a while back, but i lost track of it.

TIA

Default Future plan....>

Is probably to go with a Defi, like my boost gauge. They use a tap off a sandwhich plate, but I'm sure I could adapt. If you'll notice in the pics, there is a brass "t" with a plug in the returning oil line. That's where I'll tap for temp (post cooler)....

Those posted temps were from an A4 guy, just for an example.
