More 16795 Seconary Air Pump Help

My mistake - it's actually the combi valve - part # 06A 131 102A that fails
not the N112 - sorry. The N112 does fail occasionally - but when the combi valve fails - it keeps the air from pumping out of the air pump. Mine was staying closed which cause the seals in the pump to fail. Could be either or but most likely the combi valve not the n112.

I checked the combi externally with all the lines to it it looks pretty solid, i guess ill take it apart and do more checking.
some say that a DV can also cause the problem but i have the forge 007 and i think its in good shape but who knows ill have to take that off too at some point if i cant get this fixed.
I just hope i the pump itself is not bad internally, can i just take the value going to the combi off and see if its blowing air out to test the pump that way you think?

I see, I know usually these things dont logically make sense but...
if the kombi had been going bad to the point which it would damage the pump rivits, wouldn't the CEL have come on much earlier?
I turned my CEL off so far iv made it through 2 cold starts usually it's the 3rd one that brings it back so I should find out tomarrow.
