Default More about the ESP light.....

OK so today I cleaned my MAF and no light.....for a while. It came back on a few hours later so I scanned the car while the light was on.....It showed no codes. I also don't have a check engine light. Thoughts? Am I not using the VAG COM right? I just plugged it in and checked for fault codes.
