more funny drivetrain sounds >>
hey guys... recently had my drivers side axle replaced (blown inner joint). Now I hear a very subtle click click click when acclerating from the passenger side. This does not happen on turns... it's only upon acceleration in any gear.
another axle? how can i check myself? i just had tie-rods done a few months ago. and while it was up i had them check the wheel bearings and there was no play. so i'm ruling that out.
any ideas?

definitely sounds like an axle>>
did they put in "rebuilt" axles? That is simply a rip-off-- you CANNOT rebuild a CV joint. Once the ***** and cage wears, how are the "rebuilders" going to add material? They simply take the best cores, re-pack, re-boot, and sell you for $$$. If I were you I'd replace the offending joint with a brand-new one.

my front drivers side is a raxle (raxles.com) >>
the noise is coming from the passenger side.
the noise occurs only when in gear (any gear) and on and off throttle. turning doesn't make a difference... it happens when i'm driving straight.
