Good news from my Audi dealer. My TT225 that was in the dealer's 1st allocation has not been built yet and no build date assigned, while a TT FWD that was part of the same allocation is going to production in about 10 days. Dealer believes that my car will have ESP on it since it hasn't gone into production yet and that TT225 production has been held till they can install ESP. Lets see if this story changes next week. And the wait continues.....

Seems Audi people can't tell the same story. I spoke to a customer service rep at the 800 number and was told that ESP won't become standard equipment until May production. Cars produced before that will not have ESP, but there will be some kind of upgrade offered in the states, but it is unclear whether it will be deal-installable or have to go to a special facility. It will cost @$350.
Also, I have an "early build" slot, which I was told now mean maybe end of May, not late March or early April as my dealer thought.
Anybody else have any different, misleading information?

Yours as well.
Mine will be delivered in march with ESP.
ESP was charged on all orders after december 1st.
Imagine customers paying for ESP and beeing delivered a car without it !!!
You could not accepta the delivery.

S3 and A3 180hp were upgraded similarly in december

Talked to my dealer yesterday. My TT225 is now F status and due to be shipped soon. According to the dealer the car has the spoiler and suspension modifications but no ESP.
