Default My first time....

....with the windows iced. On my way to dropping off the TT this morning to have service, I wondered if the mechanism for the "auto-crack-the-window" (technical term) has an override for when they are stuck. Of course, the manual is at the shop, too, so thought I'd ask if anyone knows.

Default My first time too....

Saw the snowflake display this morning, it was 31 degrees here in Central FL. I feel lucky! Hope everyone is weathering the storm OK.

It hasn't hit 31 here in Jax yet this morning. Man, this house is drafty! LOL!

Default Volvo doors were frozen closed this morning...

I didn't even think about the TTR...but then it is under a car cover so I shouldn't expect this to be a problem for me.

We had rain yesterday then the temps dropped into the 20's... The Volvo didn't appreciate the water in the door handles...that was the only problem though. The roads were clear enough for the TT even.

Default This is the first day I regret having to park the Volvo outside

Poor thing was all covered with snow and ice while the TT rested in it's old berth all warm and cozy under its cover. I had to stop half way to work at a gas station to thaw out the windshield washer jets so I could clean the windows. I need another garage.

Default I'm very close to getting a car cover for the Volvo as well...

But then I remind myself I'm in the process of selling it and the thought goes away.

I just hate to have to deal with the frosted windows in the morning...

On the subject of a garage... one would be a nice addition. :-) Hopefully in a year or two.

Default I think the cover is a good idea in theory for an outdoor car

but I can think of SO many circumstances where I would have it but either not want to use it because the car is super cruddy or because it's already covered in ice or snow from driving it. I think I'd just be wasting my money.

It was 48 on my display this morning. A new low for my TT's display!

Default I only cover the car when it is clean, not when cruddy. Could scratch it, nevermind...

...dirty the inside of the cover.
