Removed the amber lens and side reflector, painted the housing, added in the turn/parking LED strip.

Added in the 'Angel Eyes. Put it all back together. first pics in the garage at dusk 2nite.
Digi-cam washes out the pics a bit, but I'm very happy with the look. Turns are SUPER bright, much brigher than glass.
Amber color is darker and richer than the glass, and it spreads out over the entire curve completely.

This is a comparison with the LED parking lamp thru the 'Riso' clear lens mod on top, OEM-glass bulb on the bottom.

A bit washed out, but the turn signals. Top are the LEDs, bottom the glass bulb.
Amber LEDs are a much richer color, much brighter. Digi-cam does no justice to 'em.

Angels. This is the brighest setting. These will be easily seen in daylight.

Actually less. LED's draw less current/output than glass, and they do not need ballast resitors.

they did turn out well. I can 'vary' the voltage, so I can get them to glow or full brightness.
