Default My Horn's Broke!

Just picked up my very first audi on tuesday, then joined this forum! i love love love my new to me 01TTQC in desert green. however, i've found a potentially dangerous problem with it.. My horn doesnt work!! It worked a little in the beginning then kinda stopped working altogether, when i push the button down it kinda chirps very very quietly but then returns to silence and gives me nothing... Is it a relay? possibly a recall i don't know about? I'd rather not take it to the audi dealer and get raped for a new horn and switch and such. Let me know what you audi gurus think! Thanks guys, and so you all know:
i'm 20, and go to RIT in Rochester NY, live in Nashua NH in the summer.

Default The horns are prone to failure - you can replace with stock:

8N0 951 221 (low tone)
8N0 951 223 (high tone)

Or some have used the Hella horns for a little more oomph.

Welcome!
