Default My new battery maintainer....

Now that the TT is tucked in, I finally got around to making up a battery maintainer. Felt I better get this done given the recent rash of battery failures posted recently.

For $20 and a trip to Harbor Freight and RadioShack you can have this too:

Double checked the polarity for positive center (after checking the cars lighter socket with a multimeter first)and plugged it in the cig lighter. Seems to be working perfectly.

Default No Modshack's uses a battery... this uses a "plug in the wall" battery charger...

plugs just out of view.

I believe Steve's just maintain's the radio settings when pulling or disconnecting the battery. Got this one to maintain/charge the battery.

Default schwings mainTTainer is used primarily for keeping radio and cluster settings when

disconnecting the battery for an extended period of time...more temporary...

this one here is used for mothballing your TT and keeping it in the garage covered up.

Default most will not-Auto. circuitry to fast charge at 15 volts-then drop to 13.5, low current to maintain
