My new wheel/tire setup feels"Squirmy". Is this a characteristic of staggered wheels or Eagle F1s?

Default WOW! My brother's car does that since he got F1s on his E30... Anyone else do that? I hate it

but they're supposedly great tires.

In hard turns, it feels like the tires shift on the rims, right?!?!

(Is that the same thing yours are doing?)

Default My buddy complained of the same thing

with the grooves you drive on being so narrow, it gives the rubber the ability to flex and bend over. he ended up having to run much higher psi than normal

Default Should be about 100 miles before they break in!

Don't try anything "fancy" before then.

Default How deep was the tread on the tires you just took off?

My S03s were down to nothing on the front so I expected to feel some extra squirm with the F1s since I wasn't used to having any tread. Sure enough it was there, felt like walking on thick carpet, that kind of odd floating feeling. Anyway. after a few weeks on the car they've either broken in or I have, don't notice it at all. So far I've been very happy with the tires, quiet, good ride, seem to have great dry traction. Amazingly its been dry since I had them installed so I haven't played in the rain yet.

Yep, so you're likely feeling what a tire that actually has some tread drives like
