My new wheel/tire setup feels"Squirmy". Is this a characteristic of staggered wheels or Eagle F1s?

Yes. Thought I'd try it. Think I'm regretting it already.

Default I've heard people say those tire feel squirmy at first . . .

but not after they are broken in. See what Gary on the wheels and tire forum has to say. I hope they work out. I was planning on getting those tires when my Pilot Sports wear out (soon).

Looks like I'll get to rain test them in the morning.

Default My wheels run a 1" stagger front to rear.

I don't notice any "Squirmy characteristics". When I rotated my tires I had a new 4 wheel alignment done and one of the rear control arms was off. When I drove away I only got 2 exits on the freeway and turned around. They put a different tech on my car and 2.5 hours later it felt great again. The second tech said the arm TOE on one was barely out but the car felt like CRAP. So wait until aligned to evaluate staggered performance. On the race track I felt no adverse effects from the stagger.

Thanks. It didn't seem nearly so noticable this morning. They run great in the rain.
