My other Key won't start the car, remote features work but>>
when you put the key in the ignition it turns over but immediately stops. Sounds to me like rolling code issue, can this be rectified with a VAG-COM?

you can match key to ECU using VAGCOM but you'll need to know the SKC

If you don't know the SKC you'll have to take it back to the dealer.
