My turnsignals quit working. Anyone have this problem?

Re: Be sure they have the part before you go.
We had the same problem. I told the guy I thought that is what the problem was because I saw it on this forum. I drove 80 miles, they looked at it, told me that is what is wrong, charged me $100 to look at it, and then said they would have to order the part and come back in about a week, which is what I did. Total cost about $250. Good Luck.

Re: It did happen to me. They replaced the emergency flasher.
Happened to me a year ago. Took forever to "cure" the issue; replacing emergency flasher, fuses, etc., only worked temporarily, i.e., the problem was intermittent...kept occuring with blown fuses, etc.
Finally cured when left headlight unit was removed; the wiring harness had been mis-positioned at the factory, became pinched, and eventually came in contact with metal, which caused the short...off and on. If you experience the same after a "first fix", tell them where to look!
