Try adding a coat of wax. The brake dust won't accumulate as quickly and what does accumulate, easily wipes off.

Another alternative is to switch to aftermarket "reduced dust" brakes.

Default BABY OIL???

i was told to put baby oil on my tires to make them look wet and shiny all the time. is there any validity to this?

Default Get used to it 'cause AoA thinks we're nuts in this complaint (MORE)

"With the prohibition of asbestos from brake pads, ALL cars (according to them) will experience accummulation of brake dust." Sure! That's why I also have to hose out my garage weekly so that the stuff isn't brought into the house and carpet. Seems like the dust can be measured in pounds!
Great design when you think that the TT is "stretched" over the wheels!

Default It gets better...

Mine kept requiring nearly daily cleaning for about a week. Now I can wipe them off once a week or so without the accumulation getting too bad.
