Default I hid mine under the intake manifold. You just need to extend the wiring. I'd rather not delete

items that may make the ECU go soft limp if it has clever checks that may fail even if there are ways to bypass normal operation.

Default it is also used to control stored vacuum in that small canister so the ECU has direct control

vs relying on the throttle influence manifold vacuum. But my blow off valve (with it's larger diaphram volume from the manifold activates faster than my BPV from the ECU source, so sourcing from the manifold directly doesn't pose a problem that I see.

Default I accidentally left mine unplugged for a couple of days...

after I changing my spark plugs... I was wondering if I hurt anything. In fact I was about to post the question. Didn't notice any difference... I guess I'm ok then, right?
