Any comments on the differences between these two blacks?

If this is just another name for Volcano Black, ie black with a blue/green/red/purple pearl flip applied over the top, then that is the way to go.

This exhibits different hues depending on the ambient lighting, especially sunrise/sunset and under artificial street lights.

Had it on my A4 for 3 years, much easier to keep clean than brilliant black, though both blacks do show up chips very easily due to white undercoat/primer.
